There is no need to edit `.po`/`.mo` files or to write custom filter code whenever a wording should be different, and your changes survive all updates. #### Common use cases * Change WooCommerce button labels and shop notices. * Use your own terminology across the storefront, e.g. Swiss spelling. * Adjust plugin texts without losing the change on the next update. #### Features * **Whole words only:** a rule never changes parts of longer words. * **Fast:** rules are loaded once per request and checked with a quick pre-filter. * **Unlimited rules:** add, edit or remove as many replacement pairs as you need. * **Clean interface:** under RM24 Text Replacer, together with all other RM24 plugins. * **Translations:** German, French and Italian (English is the base language). #### RM24 Text Replacer PRO The separate PRO add-on (available at [rm24.ch](https://rm24.ch/produkt/rm24-text-replacer-woocommerce-wp-text-editor/)) adds a CSV import for many terms at once and lets each rule apply to the frontend, the backend or everywhere. This free plugin is fully functional on its own. ### External services The RM24 overview page (RM24 Overview) can show a list of further RM24 plugins. The list is only loaded after you click “Show more RM24 plugins”. It is then requested from https://rm24.ch/plugin_updates/modules.json and cached for 12 hours. No data about your site, your shop or its customers is sent; the request only contains the data every web request contains (such as your server’s IP address). Install the plugin through Plugins Add New, or upload the plugin folder to `/wp- content/plugins/`. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Go to RM24 Text Replacer. 4. Enter the original text and the new text, then click “Save changes”. The replacements apply immediately. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin change theme or plugin files? No. It works through the standard WordPress translation filters (`gettext`, `ngettext` and their context variants). All files stay untouched and update-safe. ### Does it work with WooCommerce? Yes. All WooCommerce texts that pass through the WordPress translation functions can be replaced. ### Why is a text not replaced? Only texts that are output through the WordPress translation functions can be replaced.
