Upload the ZIP and activate the plugin ## FAQ ### Does the plugin use cookies or tracking? No. Counter Box is fully cookie-free and does not store any personal data. It complies with GDPR and privacy standards. ### Can I use different timezones for my counters? Yes. You can set each counter to follow your site’s timezone or the visitor’s local timezone depending on the use case. ### My counter is not showing on the frontend. How can I fix it? This is usually caused by caching. Try the following steps: 1. **Clear your browser cache** – Use `Ctrl + Shift + R` (Windows) or `Cmd + Shift + R` (Mac). 2. **Clear your WordPress cache** – If you’re using caching plugins like WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, or LiteSpeed Cache, clear their caches. 3. **Purge server-side cache** – If you use hosting or proxy-level caching (e.g., Cloudflare, SiteGround), purge it via the control panel. 4. **Temporarily disable caching** – If issues persist, try disabling your caching plugin to check if it’s the source. ### The counter is only visible to me (administrator). Gladly, Counter Box is exactly what I needed. No bloat, quite slim, and works fantastically, and it ensures to take care of timezone since our server is set to GMT and we operate in EST. The only feature I’d like to see is to allow custom css within the style section, as that would allow the html and css to cooperate within a single area. However, I liked that all I needed to do was write my own html/css to give the counter the skin fit for the page/site. For anyone looking for a nice and lean countdown plug, this is a good choice.
